On behalf of HRH Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, HH Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, today received one of the sea voyages arriving from the Republic of Sudan through Jeddah Islamic Port, carrying groups of the Guests of God coming to perform the Hajj rituals.

The reception took place in the presence of Maj. Gen. Mansour bin Shahd Al Otaibi, Director of Passports in the Makkah Region, and officials of the government sectors operating at the port, within an integrated system designed to ease arrival procedures and provide pilgrims with the best services from the moment they enter the Kingdom.

A Reception Reflecting the Kingdom's Care for the Guests of God

During the reception the Governor underlined the importance of the efforts made by the bodies operating at Jeddah Islamic Port to serve pilgrims by implementing the operational and staffing plans dedicated to the Hajj season.

He said these efforts follow the directives of the leadership, which is committed to deploying every capability to serve the Guests of God and provide them with comfort and peace of mind throughout their spiritual journey.

Full Operational Readiness at Jeddah Islamic Port

During the Hajj season Jeddah Islamic Port implements integrated operational plans to receive pilgrims arriving by sea, including organizing arrivals, speeding up procedures and providing logistics and guidance services in coordination with government bodies.

The port authorities are also strengthening field readiness to ensure smooth movement and easy transfer of pilgrims to their accommodation and the holy sites.

Sudan Among the Countries Served by Sea Hajj Services

Sea voyages from the Republic of Sudan are among the important seasonal arrivals Jeddah Islamic Port receives during the Hajj season, with integrated services for pilgrims from arrival until their entry procedures are completed with ease.

This is part of the services the Kingdom provides to pilgrims arriving from around the world through air, land and sea ports.
