The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) in Riyadh has hosted an art exhibition highlighting the beauty of Saudi heritage, with a select group of male and female artists from the Art and Artists Club, as part of its continued efforts to support the cultural and artistic scene and strengthen the presence of national identity in the visual arts.

The exhibition featured around 25 works ranging from paintings to sculptures, drawing on Saudi cultural heritage and offering contemporary artistic visions that reflect the richness of the national heritage and the diversity of its aesthetic and civilizational elements.

The exhibition was attended by Turki bin Mohammed Al Shuwaier, CEO of Darah, and Dr. Zakia Al Saqabi, President of the Art and Artists Club, who viewed works varied in style and medium that offered visual interpretations inspired by the Kingdom's cultural identity.

The exhibition is part of the cooperation between Darah and the Art and Artists Club, aimed at highlighting the national heritage and encouraging artists to use its elements in their creative work, raising awareness of Saudi heritage and presenting its civilizational values through modern artistic approaches.

The exhibition also reflects Darah's interest in widening its partnerships with cultural and artistic bodies and supporting initiatives that cement the place of national heritage in the visual arts and introduce the community to the Kingdom's cultural and creative assets.
