In celebration of World Rock Day, the King Fahd National Library in Riyadh has launched an exhibition titled "From AlUla to Najran: A History Time Cannot Erase", running until Thursday and offering a knowledge journey through part of the geological and historical heritage the Kingdom holds.
The exhibition takes visitors on a tour of the most prominent rock formations stretching from AlUla to Najran, highlighting their geological value and the natural and historical evidence they carry, documenting the evolution of the Earth and preserving traces of the civilizations that succeeded one another at these sites over thousands of years.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the importance of rocks and natural formations as part of the Kingdom's geographic and cultural identity, and to highlight the geological diversity of Saudi sites that makes them important destinations for researchers and enthusiasts of natural heritage.
The exhibition welcomes visitors in the lobby of the King Fahd National Library daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, as part of a series of cultural events organized by the library to enrich knowledge and introduce the national heritage.
