The Tabuk Region Emirate is preparing to launch its digital innovation hackathon, iGOVTHON 2026, under the theme "Digital Innovation for Sustainable Impact", a competitive initiative aimed at creators, innovators and people with technology ideas, with the goal of developing digital solutions that raise the efficiency of government services and advance digital transformation.

The hackathon brings developers, designers, entrepreneurs, students and graduates together in multidisciplinary teams to turn technology ideas into prototypes that can be applied and developed, drawing on the expertise of specialists and mentors throughout the competition.

iGOVTHON 2026 focuses on using modern technology, data and artificial intelligence to address real government challenges, opening the way for participants to develop solutions that improve the beneficiary experience, raise operational efficiency and make better use of data in developing government services.

The competition revolves around three main tracks. The first, "Exceptional Beneficiary Experience", focuses on solutions that improve the experience of service users.

The second track, "A More Efficient Digital Government", focuses on solutions that raise the efficiency of government operations and services using digital technology, while the "Data and AI Support" track invites participants to develop ideas that harness data and smart technology to deliver solutions with practical impact.

The event gives participants a competitive environment to develop their ideas and present solutions to the relevant bodies, along with the chance to compete for incentive prizes, exchange expertise and build teams that combine different technical and creative specializations.

The hackathon also aims to promote a culture of government innovation, empower national talent and build bridges of cooperation between government bodies and innovators, supporting the development of promising digital projects and the possible adoption of outstanding solutions in the future.

The Tabuk Region Emirate's iGOVTHON 2026 is part of efforts to support digital transformation and the use of data and AI in developing the government sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
