Riyadh is preparing to host the Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation 2026 on 2 and 3 December 2026 at The Arena Riyadh, with wide participation from government bodies, non-profit organizations, rehabilitation centers and local and international companies. The Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities has announced it will continue as the exhibition's strategic partner, with the event coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebration.

The Authority's strategic partnership extends its efforts to support initiatives and events that empower people with disabilities, improve the quality of services provided to them, raise community awareness and widen cooperation among the sectors involved.

A Platform for the Latest Rehabilitation Technology and Solutions

The exhibition is a specialized platform bringing together the organizations, experts and companies working in rehabilitation, assistive technology and innovations designed for people with disabilities, allowing them to present the latest solutions and products, exchange expertise and learn about modern practices in the sector.

The exhibition is organized by Al Arabia Al Oula for Exhibitions and Conferences, and also aims to strengthen cooperation among government, private and non-profit bodies and build partnerships that help develop the ecosystem of services for people with disabilities.

AI in the Service of Independence

This edition spotlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in developing assistive technology for people with disabilities, using smart systems to create solutions that adapt more closely to each user's individual needs, strengthen independence and make daily activities easier.

Possible AI applications in this field include smart prosthetics and assistive devices, voice recognition and speech-to-text technology, computer vision systems, solutions supporting people with visual, hearing and mobility impairments, and AI-powered communication tools.

AI also enables devices capable of analyzing a user's needs and responding in a more personalized way, and supports rehabilitation programs, follow-up and data analysis, helping specialists deliver solutions and services better suited to each case.
