The 2026 Global Biomedical Technology Conference in Riyadh is witnessing an extensive international presence, with representatives from over 70 countries, more than 100 speakers, and over 10,000 participants. This event is enhancing Riyadh's position as a global platform for research, innovation, investment, industry, and advanced healthcare technologies.

The fourth edition of the conference is held from September 14 to 16, 2026, and includes 36 scientific sessions, alongside the announcement of over 40 agreements, initiatives, and declarations in areas ranging from health and scientific research to investment, industry, data, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al-Qanaawi, the executive director of health affairs at the Royal Guard Ministry, emphasized that the conference comes at a time when biotechnology is experiencing rapid advancements and discoveries. He highlighted the role of the event in supporting the objectives of the National Biotechnology Strategy, launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in January 2024.
