Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region, patronized a Saudi National Day celebration organized by the Madinah Municipality at the King Salman International Convention Center.

The event was attended by Madinah Mayor Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Bulaiheshi, along with officials and residents of the region, as part of Madinah’s celebrations marking the national occasion.

Poetry and Visual Performances Highlight Saudi History

The ceremony began with the Saudi Royal Anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran and a national poem reflecting on the journey of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud in unifying the Kingdom.

Guests then watched a visual presentation titled “My Homeland, My Identity,” followed by a classical Arabic poem titled “A Destination on the Heights,” celebrating Madinah and highlighting the symbolism of the Saudi flag.

The program also featured a traditional Madinah Majass performance, a Nabati poem, and another visual presentation centered on the Kingdom.

“Our Kingdom, Our Pride” Operetta and Saudi Ardah

The celebration continued with the “Our Kingdom, Our Pride” operetta, presented through three artistic tableaux reflecting national pride and belonging.

The event concluded with a performance of the Saudi Ardah, bringing together Saudi heritage and national identity in the final segment of a program featuring poetry, visual presentations, performing arts, and traditional cultural elements.
