Rijal Almaa Heritage Village hosted a national poetry evening titled “Poetry in the Presence of the Homeland” on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, as part of cultural activities accompanying Saudi National Day celebrations.

The event was organized by the Rijal Almaa branch of the Professional Literature Association, in cooperation with the Heritage Commission Visitors Center, and was attended by Rijal Almaa Governor Al-Hassan bin Abdulkhaliq Al-Hafzi, along with literature and culture enthusiasts.

A number of poets participated in the evening, presenting national poems that expressed pride in Saudi Arabia and reflected themes of loyalty and belonging.

The poetry also highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing development, bringing together literature, national identity, and heritage within the historic setting of Rijal Almaa Heritage Village.

Hosting the event at Rijal Almaa Heritage Village added a distinctive cultural and heritage dimension to the National Day program.
