Hayy Jameel in Jeddah is presenting listening stations and a photographic display with Frequency Room as part of the closing programme for Red Wind, Coral Worlds. The experience continues until October 26, 2026, from 5pm to 10pm, except Fridays, according to the official listing.

The sound programme draws on published and unreleased recordings, research and artistic projects to explore cultural connections across the Red Sea. Curated by Huda Tayob and Miriam Hillawi Abraham, the exhibition examines how trade, pilgrimage and migration have connected coastal communities over time.

A three-day music symposium, Red Wind, Sonic Residues, will follow on October 22–24. Listening sessions, discussions, readings, exhibition tours and live performances will take place across Hayy Jameel, with particular attention to musical traditions of the Horn of Africa. The venue says registration details will be announced later.
