The 25th WPC Energy Congress will dedicate four consecutive sessions to artificial intelligence and digitalisation on October 14, 2026. The congress runs from October 11 to 15 at Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, with its main conference and exhibition programme opening on October 12.

The published schedule moves from AI partnerships to skills for energy professionals, followed by adoption-maturity models and benchmarks. A final session considers how digital tools can support the energy transition. The sessions run in Hall 10 between 10am and 1:50pm, Riyadh time.

The maturity discussion examines adoption across exploration, production, logistics, refining and distribution. The energy-transition session focuses on renewable integration, smart-grid management, predictive maintenance, digital twins and storage optimisation. Together, the topics connect workforce development with operational applications and ways of assessing performance across the energy industry.
