Two Mongolian falcons fetch SAR 550,000 on auction opening night
Two falcons sold for a combined SAR 550,000 on the opening night of the Mongolian falcon auction on Saturday, October 3, at the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 in Malham, north of Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
A juvenile hurr falcon fetched SAR 150,000, followed by an adult hurr falcon that sold for SAR 400,000 after bidding began at SAR 100,000. The exhibition is hosting a dedicated Mongolian falcon area for a second consecutive year.
Organized by the National Center for Falcons, the exhibition runs October 1–10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, combining falconry and hunting with cultural and educational experiences.
