Export Bahrain, which works to promote an export culture across all industrial and service sectors, is continuing those efforts by taking part in the Saudi Food Show, held in Riyadh from June 20 to 23, 2023. The participation aims to raise export awareness and highlight global market opportunities in the food sector.

This is Export Bahrain's first time at the exhibition. It is participating under the Kingdom of Bahrain pavilion alongside 13 Bahrain-based enterprises, including six startups specializing in food. The food sector is among the fastest-growing sectors in the world, opening up promising business opportunities for companies.

The exhibition is expected to attract more than 90,000 food industry professionals, with more than 1,000 international food companies taking part from over 30 countries.

Export Bahrain CEO Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq said the organization is keen to raise exporters' awareness of export procedures, develop their readiness, encourage them to open up to global markets and improve the quality of local products. Export Bahrain also helps enterprises find suitable business opportunities and export markets by preparing market access guides and market studies.

Export Bahrain uses all its resources to improve the efficiency of the export environment and remove obstacles that Bahrain-based exporters may face, raising knowledge of export practices and building export capabilities. It also showcases the products and services of Bahrain-based enterprises to target audiences by taking part in international exhibitions and conferences, connecting them with potential global buyers and partners, and organizing bilateral meetings.
