Riyadh is hosting the Literary Partner Forum 2024 from 4 to 15 June 2024. The initiative embodies the Kingdom's commitment to making culture a way of life and raising cultural awareness within society.

The Literary Partner initiative aims to establish partnerships with cafes to promote literary works in an innovative way that resonates with the public. It offers literary and cultural activities to cafe visitors, enriching their experience and making it distinctive and unique. The forum allows visitors to engage directly with the cultural sector and encourages them to take part in a variety of cultural activities.

The Literary Partner Forum 2024's objectives include:

Making culture part of everyday life.

Strengthening the value of literature in people's lives.

Supporting the spread of Saudi books locally and internationally.

Strengthening the role of private- and third-sector institutions in advancing the cultural sector.

Inspiring individuals toward literary and cultural production.

About the Ministry of Culture:

The Ministry of Culture was established on 17 Ramadan 1439H, corresponding to 2 June 2018, under the leadership of His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud. The ministry focuses on preserving the Kingdom's historical heritage and building a rich cultural future in which various forms of culture and the arts can flourish. It aims to help achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 across its main pillars: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. On 27 March 2019, the Ministry of Culture announced its strategy, reflecting its mission and objectives: culture as a way of life, culture for economic growth, and culture to enhance the Kingdom's international standing.
