In a spirit of academic competition, the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University Excellence Award 2024 is underway, aiming to strengthen competitiveness in education and scientific research.

The award seeks to recognize and encourage excellence and creativity at the university, honoring outstanding members of its academic and administrative units in the fields of education, scientific research, and administrative and institutional performance. It also aims to spread a culture of quality and excellence, contributing to achieving the university's mission and strategic objectives.

The award's second edition will be held across four branches: the Education Excellence Award, the Research Excellence Award, the Institutional Excellence Award, the Administrative Excellence Award, and finally the Student Excellence Award.

Application Stages

  • Application submission: from 19 May to 20 July.
  • Judging phase: from 21 July to 5 September.
  • Nomination results approval: from 8 to 19 September.
  • Award ceremony and results announcement: from 6 to 10 October.

Award Objectives

  1. Spreading the concepts and practices of excellence at all levels within the university community, motivating staff toward greater excellence and creativity in performance.
  2. Contributing to the university's strategy of creating a motivating work environment and achieving competitive outcomes.
  3. Highlighting successful educational practices and recognizing outstanding staff, while providing the opportunity to benefit from exemplary experiences.
  4. Improving the quality and quantity of the university's research output and encouraging excellence in publishing scientific research.
  5. Enhancing the university's standing and reputation in local, regional and international forums.
  6. Improving performance and raising the level of services provided by the university's various administrative and academic units.
