Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced that Riyadh Season 2024 has set a new record, drawing two million visitors in just its first week. The milestone reflects the enormous public enthusiasm for the eagerly anticipated annual season, which blends entertainment with innovation.

Riyadh Season spans five main zones: Boulevard World, Kingdom Arena, Boulevard City, The Venue, and Al-Suwaidi Park. Boulevard World has expanded by 30% to accommodate the growing number of visitors, adding five new zones themed around Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Africa and Courchevel, bringing the total to 22 zones inspired by cultures from around the world. The season also features 300 restaurants and cafes and more than 890 retail outlets.

At Kingdom Arena, the standout event was a world boxing bout that saw Artur Beterbiev crowned undisputed light heavyweight champion after defeating Dmitry Bivol by majority decision. The Venue also held its first-ever event, the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, billed as the richest in the world and featuring an elite lineup of international tennis stars.

At Al-Suwaidi Park, Indian-themed events are drawing crowds of Indian culture enthusiasts, with traditional performances and Indian cuisine boosting turnout among the Indian community and residents. Boulevard City, meanwhile, has offered innovative entertainment experiences such as PUBG Mobile and a Conan-themed experience, set against the enchanting backdrop of the dancing fountain.
