"The Venue": New Entertainment Zone Dazzles Riyadh Season 2024 Visitors with Exclusive Events
Riyadh Season 2024 continues to impress visitors with exceptional venues and events, as the General Entertainment Authority this year launches "The Venue," built in just 50 days to become one of the season's leading entertainment sites. Spanning 10,000 square meters and accommodating up to 8,000 visitors, the venue features advanced audiovisual technology, making it an ideal destination for enthusiasts of a variety of events spanning sports, arts and culture.
The Venue opened its events with the "Six Kings Slam" tennis exhibition, which brought together an elite group of global tennis stars, including legends Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, in an exciting showcase that impressed audiences and concluded with Jannik Sinner crowned champion after a thrilling final victory over Alcaraz. The tournament was more than just an exhibition, it reflected a world-class standard of play enjoyed by the crowd at The Venue.
The venue also hosted "Crown Jewel 2024," organized by WWE, featuring thrilling wrestling matches that drew a huge crowd. The show featured intense clashes such as The Bloodline against Roman Reigns' team, and a rivalry between women's stars Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, along with surprises such as the stoppage of the Randy Orton-Kevin Owens match due to unexpected interference.
In addition, The Venue is expected to host a fashion show on November 13 by the world-renowned Lebanese designer Elie Saab, who will present his Fall 2025 collection titled "A Thousand and One Seasons," followed by "Latin Night" on November 16, featuring exciting boxing bouts including global champions Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez and Chris Billam-Smith, broadcast free to the world.
