At Cityscape 2024, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham under the theme "The Future of Living," the Ministry of Interior showcased an unmanned drone equipped with the latest artificial intelligence technology, developed by the General Directorate of Civil Defense to provide effective support in emergencies and search-and-rescue operations.

The drone can fly up to an altitude of 30 kilometers and is equipped with high-resolution cameras and thermal and motion sensors, enhancing performance accuracy and enabling precision missions such as delivering food and medicine to hard-to-reach areas, including mountainous locations and sites affected by wildfires and floods.

The Ministry of Interior's participation in this exhibition underscores the advancement of its security and safety capabilities within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, as the ministry works to deploy artificial intelligence to strengthen internal security and improve crisis and disaster management. These drones play a pivotal role in protecting the environment from natural disasters and providing support in remote areas, helping raise the efficiency of security and emergency services.
