Riyadh — Tuesday:
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh region and honorary president of the Adult Mobility Disability Association "Harakiya," the association held its 13th mass wedding ceremony, with the participation of 106 people with physical disabilities. The ceremony coincided with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and was held at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel, attended by the association's board chairman, Eng. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Mutawa, board members, and a number of dignitaries and supporters.

Empowerment and Social Integration
In his remarks, Al-Mutawa thanked the Governor of Riyadh for his continued support of the association's programs, stressing that the ceremony aims to empower people with physical disabilities and integrate them into society by helping them achieve their dream of marriage and build stable families. He said the event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of improving quality of life and empowering all segments of society, particularly beneficiaries of the nonprofit sector.

Comprehensive Support for Newlyweds
Al-Mutawa explained that the mass wedding program is not limited to financial support — it also includes providing home furniture and essential appliances. The association also offers preparatory and guidance courses for couples about to marry, educating them about their marital responsibilities and strengthening their skills in managing family relationships.

Boosting Psychological and Social Stability
The mass wedding ceremony helps achieve psychological and social stability for people with physical disabilities, giving them the opportunity for full integration into society. Thanks to this program, "Harakiya" has helped fulfill the wishes of many individuals who aspired to start a happy, stable family life.
