The "Franchise Exhibition" opened today in Madinah, organized by the Social Development Bank in cooperation with the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, running from 14 to 15 Jumada al-Thani 1446 AH (corresponding to 15 December 2024). The exhibition aims to empower entrepreneurs and facilitate connections between them and local and global franchisors, supporting sustainable economic development in line with Vision 2030 targets.

Programming that supports entrepreneurs

The exhibition featured a range of activities, including specialized workshops covering key topics in the franchise sector such as:

  • marketing and pricing strategies;
  • mechanisms for developing franchise models; and
  • logistics management and supply chains.

The event also included dedicated advisory sessions for investors and entrepreneurs, offering a comprehensive consulting platform with practical guidance on financing, business development and franchise operations.

The exhibition featured sessions showcasing inspiring success stories of national brands that developed innovative franchise models, giving visitors a chance to learn from real, motivating experiences that help them take confident steps toward investment.

Future initiatives for sustainability

Eid Al-Dalbahi, director of startup financing at the Social Development Bank, said the bank presented financing and empowerment initiatives during the exhibition aligned with Vision 2030 programs, including accessible financing services and training courses aimed at helping entrepreneurs develop their projects and enhance their sustainability.

Al-Dalbahi added that the bank is working to spread a culture of franchising and encourage investors in the Madinah region to take advantage of available opportunities, whether by granting or acquiring franchise rights, noting that these efforts aim to reduce the risks facing investors in the sector.

A number of exhibition visitors, speaking to the Saudi Press Agency, expressed their appreciation for the Social Development Bank's efforts in organizing an event that brought franchisors and clients together under one roof, saving new investors many steps.
