The Madinah Chamber was founded by Royal Order No. 1905 of 11 Sha'ban 1386 AH (24 November 1966), with its first board formed in 1387 AH; it is a member of the Federation of Saudi Chambers with a board of up to 18 members. The chamber issues sector reports on the regional economy, including its report that the region received more than 18 million visitors in 2024.

- The Madinah Investment Forum "Invest in Madinah" (22 to 23 December 2024) with opportunities exceeding SAR 57 billion and the launch of "Madinah Ventures".
- The Tourism Employment Forum with the Ministry of Tourism and HRDF (December 2024) and the Franchise Exhibition with the Social Development Bank.
- Gold sponsorship of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum 2026, and hosting the Madinah Awqaf Forum (April 2026).
