The opening of the Tabarjal Fruit Festival is approaching.
Tabarjal Governorate is preparing to launch the Tabarjal Fruit Festival under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Jouf Region.
With the festival's organizing committee from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture office in Tabarjal and the other festival committees having completed their preparations, the festival will open next Saturday, July 15, at the Civilization Center in Tabarjal Governorate.
Eng. Majed Al-Sahti Al-Sharari, the festival's general supervisor, confirmed that all relevant entities are ready to make the annual event a success.
Farmers expressed their delight at the festival, which they see as an important outlet for introducing the fruit grown by farmers in the governorate and its affiliated centers and villages, and for marketing their produce in ways that boost their economic prospects.
Tabarjal Governorate is one of the most important sources of agricultural produce in the Arab world.
It is known for its agricultural products, including fruits such as grapes, figs, peaches, apricots, pears and pomegranates. The Basita agricultural area ranks among the leading farming areas in the Middle East for the abundance of its production.
