The curtain has fallen on Jeddah Book Fair 2024, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission at Jeddah Superdome, closing out an exceptional 10-day edition held under the theme "Jeddah Reads." The fair brought together more than 1,000 local, Arab and international publishing houses and agencies across 450 pavilions, offering a distinguished cultural and knowledge experience for literature and book lovers.

Dr. Mohammed Hasan Alwan, CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, thanked the Kingdom's leadership for its continuous support of the cultural movement, praising the fair's standing as one of three main book fairs in Saudi Arabia, alongside the Riyadh and Madinah fairs.
Dr. Alwan affirmed that the commission is working hard to develop cultural exhibitions in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which places culture at the heart of economic and social development, noting that the Kingdom has become an international beacon for culture and creativity.

Dr. Alwan explained that the Ministry of Culture seeks to turn the Kingdom into a major hub for publishing and distribution by providing an ideal environment that meets the needs of readers and publishing houses.
