The General Directorate of Border Guard is preparing to launch its awareness exhibition "A Nation Without Violators" tomorrow at Najran Park Mall in Najran city, running through Sunday, January 5, 2025. The exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the importance of complying with border security law and reporting violators, while highlighting the negative security, health, social and economic impacts of their presence.

Goals and Content of the Exhibition

This exhibition is part of the Ministry of Interior's "A Nation Without Violators" campaign, and highlights the deterrent laws related to border security violations. It also explains the penalties facing those who facilitate the entry of violators into the Kingdom, transport or shelter them, or provide them with any form of assistance. These penalties include prison terms of up to 15 years, fines of up to SR1 million, confiscation of the vehicle and premises used for shelter, and public naming of violators.

The Importance of the Campaign

The campaign is an important step in affirming the community's role in supporting security efforts by reporting violations, while also aiming to protect society from the negative effects that can arise from the presence of border security law violators. The exhibition serves as an effective tool for raising public awareness of the legal, economic and social consequences of these issues.
