King Abdulaziz University today opened the 12th edition of its Career Forum, organized by the Scientific Endowment and the Alumni and Skills-Building Center, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, running from February 2 to 6, 2025 at the university's King Faisal Conference Center.

The forum is a major platform bringing together more than 40 government, private, and non-profit entities to provide employment and training opportunities for the university's students and graduates. It also includes workshops and training programs running throughout the event, aimed at building human capabilities and strengthening Saudi youth's readiness for the labor market.

Dr. Majed bin Hatem Al-Harthi, executive director of the Scientific Endowment, said the forum is part of efforts to develop young people's capabilities and enable them to contribute to economic, social, and cultural development. Dr. Khadijah Al-Amoudi, director of the Alumni Center, said the forum serves as a bridge between job seekers and employers, helping graduates integrate into professional life.

The first day saw strong turnout from students and graduates, many of whom took part in training programs and career counseling sessions, while others visited participating companies and applied for available positions. The forum runs until February 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
