Riyadh, 9 February 2025 — The second edition of the Science and Technology Festival continues at King Salman Science Oasis under the theme "Mathematics: The Language of Science," held under the patronage of Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan and through a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and a number of national scientific bodies.

Inspiring the Next Generation, Strengthening Scientific Identity

The festival aims to highlight mathematics as the foundation of science and knowledge advancement, encourage students toward analytical and creative thinking, promote lifelong learning and the role families play in supporting their children's education, and introduce educational and career opportunities in scientific fields.

Interactive Experiences and Distinguished Scientific Sessions

The festival features 25 main pavilions offering interactive scientific experiences, alongside specialized workshops, theatrical performances and dialogue sessions involving 200 researchers and specialists. It also provides training for 50 recent graduates under a science communication program, while targeting 300 teachers and 2,000 students through its workshops.

Strong Turnout From Students and Science Enthusiasts

During the first quarter of 2025, the festival is targeting 50,000 visitors among students, their families and science enthusiasts, making it a major scientific event that strengthens the Kingdom's standing in spreading knowledge and cementing a scientific identity.
