The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has launched a new program to discover and nurture talent in architecture and creative design, called the "Architecture and Design Talents" program. It is being run in cooperation with the Architecture and Design Commission under the umbrella of the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of developing an enrichment program in architecture and design for gifted high school students.

The program offers four different tracks to choose from: interior design, architectural design, creative design and digital design. It is delivered through training courses and interactive workshops, giving participants the chance to develop their creative skills and abilities in the field, along with the support and guidance gifted students need on their artistic and professional path. The program is an ideal opportunity for students who want to develop their creative talents in architecture and design, helping them achieve their ambitions and turn their creative ideas into reality.

Building Creative Design Principles and Design Thinking

The program aims to strengthen students' grasp of creative design principles and design thinking through an enrichment program that develops their talents and boosts their creative abilities in design. It covers various disciplines within the Architecture and Design Commission, such as planning, urban design and interior design, and runs alongside students' summer academic programs.

The program will be held in three major Saudi cities, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, benefiting more than 130 male and female students divided into six groups. It includes several training modules designed to establish and develop students' design and creative thinking skills, offering an ideal opportunity to improve their skills in the field and enhance their creative potential.

Four Main Tracks

The program is offered through four main tracks: engineering sciences; medical sciences; biological and chemical sciences; physics, earth and space sciences; and computer science and applied mathematics, with the aim of developing students' skills and giving them the chance to build cumulative scientific experience that grows deeper and more varied as they continue to participate.

The program also helps develop students' personal, social and innovation skills in line with the demands of the 21st century, such as communication, leadership, and critical and creative thinking, as well as their ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
