Riyadh – May 19, 2025, corresponding to 21 Dhu al-Qadah 1446 AH — In support of institutional excellence and to strengthen the Kingdom's standing in project management, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail honored the Saudi Electricity Project Development Company (PDC) as a founding sponsor of the fourth edition of the Global Project Management Forum, held in Riyadh from May 17 to 19 under the theme "Next Generation Project Management: Human Capability, Process Power, Technology Power."

The company's participation in this prominent global event comes as part of its continued commitment to strengthening its leadership in the project management sector, and to highlighting its advanced engineering and technical capabilities applied in executing its major projects, reflecting its commitment to quality, governance, and innovation standards, and to building sustainable strategic partnerships with various stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

The forum saw PDC sign four memoranda of understanding, aiming to strengthen cooperation on future projects and exchange technical and advisory expertise, in a step that reflects the company's direction toward strategic empowerment and sustainable development.

The company also took part in two notable panel discussions on the forum's agenda:

  • The first, titled "Empowering the Future: Building Capabilities for the Next Generation of Project Leaders," was presented by Engineer Saleh Al-Dosari, Vice President of Engineering and Procurement, who discussed the importance of building future leadership skills and keeping pace with technical and economic challenges.
  • The second, titled "The Execution Gap: Aligning Strategy With Action to Achieve Measurable Success," was presented by Engineer Mubarak Al-Otaibi, Senior Vice President of Projects, who discussed turning strategic plans into measurable achievements and leadership's role in motivating teams and driving performance toward results.
