Unaizah, Saudi Arabia – June 17, 2025. The Financial Applications Forum 2025 opened today at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Unaizah governorate, Qassim region, and will run until June 19, with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists in the financial-technology (FinTech) sector from across the Kingdom, under the banner of innovation and digital regulation.

The forum, organized by the QFApps.com platform, aims to explore the leading trends and challenges in financial applications, alongside strengthening concepts of digital security and Open API standards, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of building an advanced, secure digital financial environment.

The first day featured panel discussions and workshops covering: mechanisms for developing safe, fast financial applications; integrating banking and technology systems to improve user experience; combating unlicensed applications through awareness and oversight; and supporting and empowering national talent in financial software.

The forum targets a wide range of participants, including FinTech startups, software engineers, cybersecurity officials, regulators and investors, providing an opportunity to connect and exchange experience between the public and private sectors in a safe, innovative digital space.

Organizers said the event marks a turning point toward a fully integrated national ecosystem for financial applications in the Kingdom, especially amid the growing boom in open banking services and rising demand for trusted digital applications.

The three-day event includes meetings, exhibition platforms and open discussion spaces that support sustainable digital transformation and enhance the appeal of the Saudi financial market as a leading regional hub for financial technology.
