Diriyah Season is hosting a wide array of cultural events that underscore Diriyah's standing as one of Saudi Arabia's leading cultural and historical sites, alongside sporting fixtures and international competitions.

The season kicked off in December 2023 under the slogan "Ard Tarwik" ("A Land That Enthralls"), bringing a fresh cultural and entertainment identity. Now in its third edition, Diriyah Season features an extensive calendar of entertainment, cultural and artistic programming running through March 2024.

The lineup spans live performances, art exhibitions, culinary experiences and outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for families and friends of all ages.

The much-loved season returned on December 12 for a three-month run that bridges past and present, following Riyadh Season's launch on October 28. As it did last year, the capital is once again hosting two seasons at once, giving residents and visitors a wealth of entertainment to enjoy this winter.

Under its "Ard Tarwik" banner, Diriyah Season is offering visitors a series of cultural experiences and surprises designed to reveal the beauty and history of Diriyah. The season opened with a run of musical events, beginning with a concert by singers Rabeh Saqer and Ayed at the Al-Maydan Stage.

"Sada Al-Wadi" Concerts

Singer Abadi Al-Johar and Qatari artist Fahad Al Kubaisi lit up the stage on Sunday, January 7, in a session steeped in song and authentic Gulf tarab music.

Singers Khaled Abdulrahman and Rashed Al-Fares followed with the fourth "Sada Al-Wadi" concert on Wednesday, January 10, an evening rich in music and artistry.

"Diriyah Nights" was a companion event held within the season, staged last year in one of Diriyah's most picturesque gardens. It gave visitors a one-of-a-kind experience: walking through a forest lit up at night alongside musical performances and Saudi cuisine.

"Shitana"

Visitors also enjoyed "Shitana," a cultural event held under the patronage of the Culinary Arts Commission. The event offers a cultural experience centered on desert heritage, spotlighting Saudi hospitality and winter culinary traditions, with a particular focus on the Kingdom's best-known winter dishes.
