Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will meet French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday as part of his official visit to France. During the visit, the Crown Prince will also lead the Saudi delegation to the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, to be held in Paris on June 22 and 23.

He will also attend the Kingdom's official reception in support of Riyadh's bid to host Expo 2030, scheduled to take place in Paris on June 19.

The visit comes less than a year after the Crown Prince's previous trip to the French capital in July last year.

Speaking to Al Arabiya, Patrice Paoli, the French Foreign Ministry's Arabic-language spokesperson, said France has a steadfast partnership with Saudi Arabia covering all fields and coordinates with the Kingdom on a range of international issues, including Lebanon.

He said Ukraine would be on the table during the Crown Prince's visit, and noted that Paris supports Saudi efforts to de-escalate the situation in Sudan, adding that Saudi Arabia played a major role in evacuating foreign nationals from the country.
