AlUla governorate today marked the launch of its summer fruit season, coinciding with the “AlUla's Bounty” initiative organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla to spotlight the governorate's storied agricultural diversity and reinforce its link to AlUla's cultural and economic identity.
The season's events are being held at Al-Manshiyah Farmers Market from July 22 to 28, 2025, with farmers and productive families showcasing a range of summer fruit varieties led by mangoes, grapes and figs, in a festive atmosphere rooted in the spirit of sustainable agricultural heritage.
At a Glance
- Fruit-bearing trees: more than 216,000, with estimated annual production exceeding 4,900 tonnes of fruit.
- Other “AlUla's Bounty” seasons: dates, citrus, grapes, honey and Barhi dates.
AlUla is one of the Kingdom's leading agricultural production areas, and the season aims to empower local farmers by opening direct marketing channels for them and linking their produce to visitors at Al-Manshiyah Market, helping develop farming communities and build more professional sales markets in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of supporting food security and diversifying the national economy.
