The Diriyah Gate Development Authority has launched the third edition of the "Afaq Diriyah" program, in cooperation with a select group of leading national entities, in a strategic step aiming to build a promising Saudi generation equipped with advanced leadership and knowledge skills, and carrying the cultural values and rich national identity of the Diriyah region.

The program is held in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, the Saudi Space Agency, the Scientific Center for Discovery and Innovation, and the Mahd Sports Academy, reflecting an integrated approach to developing scientific and practical content covering a broad range of advanced knowledge and experiences.

6 Diverse Tracks and 14 Specialized Workshops

The program's activities run until August 21, 2025, Sunday through Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and include six main tracks:

  1. Leadership: training in public speaking, debate and volunteer work
  2. Heritage: techniques of excavation and traditional mud-brick construction
  3. Creative Production: photography and filmmaking
  4. Science: workshops on sustainable energy, soil, water and aircraft
  5. Space: exploring astronomy and technical innovations
  6. Sports: interactive experiences in fencing and archery

The program focuses on instilling cultural values and activating national identity among participants, alongside strengthening critical and creative thinking, and encouraging them to devise practical solutions to challenges, which boosts their leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Interactive Learning and Applied Experiences

"Afaq Diriyah" provides an advanced educational environment based on practice and interactive experience, moving knowledge from rote learning to application, and focusing on developing leadership character and honing life and innovation skills, as part of an ambitious vision aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in education, culture, and human development.
