Discounted Books Section at Madinah International Book Fair 2025: Diverse Titles at Nominal Prices to Boost Reading for All
Madinah | July 29, 2025
As part of its efforts to make knowledge accessible to all segments of society, Madinah International Book Fair 2025 has dedicated an independent section for discounted books, under the supervision of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, making it one of the fair's most attractive stops during its seven-day run.
The section offers a wide range of diverse books at nominal prices, in a step aimed at expanding access to printed books and encouraging sustainable knowledge acquisition amid digital-era challenges. The section includes titles covering literature, history, self-development, science, and children's books, in addition to books in both Arabic and English, reflecting the fair's comprehensive approach to embracing the interests of all visitor groups.
The "Discounted Books" section is a valuable addition that promotes the concept of reading for all, and aligns with the goals of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission in supporting the local publishing industry, and instilling a culture of reading among young people and families, by providing high-quality knowledge content at affordable prices.
This year's fair offers a comprehensive cultural experience that includes a rich cultural program featuring intellectual seminars, interactive workshops, and literary and poetry evenings, with the participation of a constellation of writers and thinkers from inside and outside the Kingdom. The book-signing corner also provides a vibrant platform for direct interaction between readers and authors, giving visitors the chance to explore inspiring creative experiences in an environment that celebrates the written word and knowledge.
This effort comes as part of the commission's direction to support reading and community cultural engagement, and to cement the status of book fairs as strategic tools for boosting the presence of books in daily life.
