The "Malath" initiative continues its notable activities at Arar's Water Tower Park, as part of the Summer Festival organized by Northern Border University, offering a diverse package of 12 entertainment, cultural and health programs, amid a strong turnout from all age groups, cementing the event's status as one of the region's most prominent summer activities.

"Malath" activities range across entertainment, education and awareness, giving visitors an integrated experience that strengthens social bonds and encourages community interaction. Highlights include an interactive theatre, physical games, clown shows and challenge competitions catering to the interests of both adults and children.

The initiative also includes attractive shows for cartoon and giant characters, and craft corners reflecting the region's heritage, in addition to dedicated corners for health education, productive families, photography, and thrill and challenge games, adding vibrancy and variety to the festival's activities.

Through this event, Northern Border University aims to merge culture with entertainment, offering quality programs that target various segments of society and encourage volunteer work, develop student talent, and hone young people's life and creative skills.

The initiative has launched a number of notable interactive programs, most notably:

  • "Wa'id": an awareness and entertainment program for children.
  • "Tuwaiq": a program dedicated to developing the abilities of young people and teenagers.
  • "Nabih" exhibition: raising awareness of the dangers of drugs and psychoactive substances, as part of national awareness efforts.

The "Malath" initiative is one of the successful models for strengthening the university's community role and supporting Vision 2030's goals of building a vibrant society with a high quality of life that embraces culture and entertainment within a sustainable development framework.
