Event Tech Meetup 2025 Set to Launch in Riyadh to Boost Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Events Industry
Riyadh | 9 August 2025. The Event Tech Meetup 2025 will open tomorrow at the House of Culture – Riyadh Public Cooperative Library, organized by the National Events Center in its second edition, as part of the "Event Tech 2025" initiative, aiming to support local innovation, boost digital transformation in the events sector, and empower entrepreneurs and innovators in technology fields.
The forum is an integrated platform combining technical creativity with knowledge, through dialogue sessions, workshops and live experiences that redefine the relationship between technology and the events industry. Running over two days, it brings together a select group of experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and government and private bodies to review the leading global trends and digital shifts shaping the sector's future.
The program includes several tracks, most notably "Deal Arena," which allows innovators to present their digital solutions to investors to forge strategic partnerships and close promising deals, contributing to digital-economy growth and opening new horizons for innovation. The forum also features live experiences of tech products applied in real events, presented by leading companies and government bodies, aiming to showcase practical solutions that enrich the visitor experience and improve event management.
This forum builds on the success of the first edition in 2024, which established an interactive environment bringing together the various players in the events industry and helped stimulate creative thinking and explore future solutions, cementing the initiative's standing as one of the Kingdom's most prominent pioneering projects supporting the innovation ecosystem.
The organization of Event Tech Meetup 2025 reflects the National Events Center's commitment to developing this vital sector, through other notable initiatives such as the "Saudi Events" platform, the "Anjaz" licensing-facilitation platform, and the "Event Pioneers" program to prepare national talent, strengthening the Kingdom's position as an advanced hub for technology and creativity in the events industry.
