The Buraidah Dates Carnival has seen strong demand for twisted Sukkari dates, which topped the sales list in recent weeks, ranking as the most expensive variety among more than 100 types of dates on display daily.

Prices for a 3.5-kg carton of twisted Sukkari dates ranged between SR 45 and SR 400, while Sukkari Galaxy dates sold for between SR 30 and SR 180.

Majdool dates ranked third among the most expensive varieties, priced between SR 30 and SR 160, followed by Saqai and Hashishi dates in fourth place at SR 20 to SR 130, then red Sukkariyah dates at SR 20 to SR 45, Khalas dates from SR 20 to SR 35, and finally Wanana Manasif dates at SR 20 to SR 25.

The carnival, one of the largest date markets in the Kingdom, draws thousands of visitors daily from inside and outside the region, with prices varying according to quality and taste, offering shoppers a wide range of options across different budgets.
