The "Honey and Organic Products 2025" event opened yesterday at the Community Celebrations Hall on Airport Road in Rafha governorate, as part of the "Layali Suhail" festival, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's local office in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce.

Abdullah Al-Shraim, director of the Ministry's office in Rafha, said the five-day event aims to support local beekeepers and farmers, encouraging them to develop their products and strengthen their marketing capabilities, while introducing visitors to honey and organic products and highlighting their quality and high nutritional value.

He added that the event offers a valuable opportunity for productive families and young people to get involved in this vital and promising sector, helping to stimulate the local economy and expand the circle of sustainable rural production.

The event features a variety of stalls showcasing different types of honey as well as fresh, healthy organic products, alongside informational and awareness corners promoting organic farming and environmental conservation. It also includes a corner for the "Rural Saudi Arabia" sustainable agricultural rural development program, which introduces agricultural products supported in the governorate, as part of broader efforts to support Saudi Vision 2030's goals of strengthening food security and empowering farmers.
