Riyadh — 15 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH / 17 November 2025.
The "Saudi Trade Finance Summit 2025" opened today at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Hotel and Convention Center, running over two days, 17 and 18 November, with the participation of more than 350 experts, specialists and decision-makers in trade, finance and supply chain systems, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to strengthen the international trade environment and enable Saudi non-oil exports to access new markets, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
This year's summit focuses on strengthening the Kingdom's standing as a regional and global business hub, by developing a more efficient trade environment, expanding export sector capabilities, and providing innovative financing solutions that address the challenges facing exporters, suppliers and small and medium enterprises, through improving access to trade finance tools, credit insurance, and mitigating the risks of commercial transactions.
The summit also spotlights the vital role of digitalization in developing the trade and supply chain system, through the adoption of modern technologies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve risk management across the value chain, alongside discussing technical innovations that help improve trade finance operations and liquidity management.
Over the two days, panel discussions address the key challenges and opportunities in the Saudi trade finance sector, including liquidity management for exporters, supply chain financing, and accelerating the adoption of digital solutions, alongside reviewing pathways for sustainably developing the trade finance sector and its role in supporting national companies and enabling them to compete globally.
The summit serves as a key platform bringing together experts, financing entities, exporters and investors, aiming to strengthen trust and trade partnerships, and drive innovation in trade finance tools, contributing to diversifying the national economy and expanding the presence of Saudi companies in international markets.
