The Energy Institute, formerly the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic, is a non-profit training organisation founded in 2008 with the Ministry of Energy, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the companies Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabian Chevron and Aramco Gulf Operations, with campuses in Dammam and Khafji, offering a two-year diploma leading to employment in the energy sector.
The institute graduated its 13th batch at the Dammam Green Hall in May 2026 under the patronage of the Governor of the Eastern Province and in the presence of the Minister of Energy, with more than 3,000 trainees and 136 engineers from its engineer-development programme sponsored by 51 companies, alongside the launch of its expansion projects.
