The Governor of the Eastern Province presided over the graduation of the Energy Institute's 13th batch at the Green Hall of Dammam Sports City in May 2026, with the Minister of Energy present. The ceremony graduated more than 3,000 trainees and 136 engineers from the engineer-development programme, sponsored by 51 energy-sector companies.
The ceremony also saw the launch of the institute's expansion projects in Dammam and Khafji and the honouring of sponsoring companies and outstanding trainees.
