The Al Baha region is preparing to welcome visitors with the launch of the 18th International Honey Festival 2026 from 26 July to 9 August 2026, as part of the Al Baha Summer 2026 program, in an event combining tourism, agriculture, investment and handicrafts that strengthens the region's standing as a leading destination for honey production and summer tourism in the Kingdom.
The new edition brings upgraded infrastructure and organization. It takes place inside the largest dome in the southern regions, covering more than 1,300 square meters, to provide a comfortable environment for exhibitors and visitors, with 50 indoor stands for producers and bodies specializing in beekeeping and honey quality, along with 10 outdoor stands for seasonal products and honey-based processed goods.
The festival goes beyond displaying honey products, offering a complete tourism experience through the Mirbaa project near Raghadan Park, which features open lounges, restaurants and cafes, handicraft workshops and murals inspired by the heritage of the Al Baha region, giving visitors an experience that combines entertainment and culture.
The festival also hosts productive families and artisans in cooperation with the Social Development Bank, through more than 80 marketing kiosks spread across the region's governorates, supporting entrepreneurs and productive families and enabling them to market their products and strengthen their contribution to the local economy.
On food safety, the Al Baha Region Municipality has launched the "Safe Food at Every Destination" initiative, aimed at raising health oversight and educating food establishments and food trucks about health requirements and best practices in food storage and preservation, ensuring high-quality services for summer visitors.
The festival reflects the Al Baha region's efforts to support agricultural and tourism development and strengthen investment in the honey sector and its related industries, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of developing the local economy and tourism destinations.
