The third Islamic Arts Biennale returns to the Western Hajj Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah from November 1, 2027 to March 1, 2028. Organized by Diriyah Biennale Foundation, the edition brings historical works and contemporary art into dialogue around the diverse artistic expressions of Islamic cultures.
An expanded international program
The Foundation has announced a broader ambition for the next edition, including further institutional collaboration through AlMadar and the second AlMusalla Prize. A detailed schedule of exhibitions and activities has not yet been announced.
On September 17, 2026, the Foundation named its Lead Curators: Nada Raza, William Robinson, Alain Fouad George and Idries Trevathan. That announcement also reaffirmed the opening date and Jeddah venue.
