Riyadh is preparing to host the Saudi Media Forum 2027 from February 1 to 3, 2027, bringing together media leaders, experts, decision-makers, and industry professionals for three days of discussions on the major transformations shaping the future of media and communications.
Held under the theme “Media in a World Taking Shape,” the upcoming edition aims to strengthen the forum’s international presence and expand the participation of leading global media organizations. Key areas of focus will include content creation, emerging technologies, digital transformation, and media talent development.
More Than 300 Speakers and 250 Media Companies
The 2027 edition is expected to attract more than 300 speakers from around the world, along with approximately 250 media companies and organizations, reflecting the forum’s growing international reach.
The expected global participation will provide opportunities to strengthen dialogue between Saudi and international media organizations, build new partnerships, and exchange expertise in areas including content creation, digital transformation, multiplatform media, and talent development.
International organizations announced among the participants include France.tv, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, German Press Agency (dpa), ITV News, and the South China Morning Post, alongside other global media platforms.
AI and Next-Generation Media Technologies
The Saudi Media Forum 2027 will place particular emphasis on emerging technologies transforming the industry, including artificial intelligence, extended reality (XR), and next-generation media solutions.
The forum will also feature a program of panel discussions and workshops, alongside the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) and the Saudi Media Award, creating an integrated platform that combines professional dialogue, technology, innovation, and content development.
The previous edition in 2026 recorded more than 65,000 visitors and registrants, with over 300 speakers and experts participating across more than 150 sessions and workshops. These figures relate to the 2026 edition and should not be considered final attendance figures for the 2027 event.
Through its upcoming edition, the Saudi Media Forum aims to further position Riyadh as a major meeting point for the local and international media industry while supporting innovation, technological development, professional collaboration, and new partnerships in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
