Jeddah Central Development Company, a Public Investment Fund company and the master developer of the Jeddah Central destination, took part in the Future Hospitality Summit Saudi Arabia (FHS Saudi Arabia 2026), hosted by Riyadh from 22 to 24 June 2026, with leading investors, experts and decision-makers in tourism and hospitality.
The company's participation aimed to present its vision for developing the Jeddah Central destination as an integrated urban project that supports the growth of tourism and hospitality, and to introduce the investment opportunities available in hospitality, tourism, entertainment, culture, sports and retail, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goal of economic diversification.
During a panel session titled "How Global Sporting Events Reshape Cities, Investment and Tourism", Eng. Ahmed Al Aradi, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Jeddah Central Development Company, said major sporting events have become a central driver of urban development and of cities' appeal for investment and tourism, stressing that the real value of these events lies in their lasting impact on the economy and quality of life.
He said the Kingdom's hosting of the 2034 FIFA World Cup is a strategic opportunity to accelerate major development projects and strengthen Jeddah's standing as a global destination for tourism, investment and living, noting that developing modern destinations depends on building integrated systems that deliver long-term impact beyond the duration of the events.
The company also presented its plans to develop integrated hotel complexes to the highest global hospitality standards, along with facilities including restaurants, food and beverage outlets, meeting and event halls, and entertainment and retail centers, supporting Jeddah Central's standing as one of the Kingdom's leading future destinations.
