Hail Regional Museum stands next to the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre in the city of Hail on an area of about 11,000 square metres and is overseen by the Museums Commission. Its halls begin with an entrance gallery and an overview of the Kingdom's antiquities, then move through prehistory and the rock art of Jubbah and Shuwaymis, the ancient Arabian kingdoms, the Iraqi pilgrimage route (Darb Zubaydah), and on to the history of the Emirate of Hail and the Saudi state.
The museum holds artefacts, models and interactive displays, receives school trips and festival visitors, and stages temporary exhibitions with the Heritage Commission.
