King Fahd Central Park is the largest of Madinah's six major parks, located south of the city about 5 kilometres from the Prophet's Mosque and managed by Madinah Region Municipality. It spans about 1.6 million square metres, including some 500,000 square metres of green space, with the Municipal Theatre and the Roman Theatre, sports pitches, barbecue areas and children's playgrounds.
The park hosts seasonal and community events such as dinosaur exhibitions, children's programmes, basketball tournaments and the municipality's Eid festivals.
