As part of its celebration of its rich cultural and historical heritage, Saudi Arabia launched the "Bayn Aydeyna" ("In Our Hands") event. The initiative offers a distinctive experience for visitors of all ages, bringing together culture, art and heritage in a variety of forms. Here is more on the "Bayn Aydeyna" event in AlUla.
Details of "Bayn Aydeyna" in AlUla
The "Bayn Aydeyna" experience in AlUla begins with storytelling that celebrates AlUla's history and its storied heritage. Visitors can enjoy traditional Saudi coffee and exchange stories with the AlUla community about their experiences and involvement. One of the event's biggest draws is the "handprint in local clay" activity, where visitors leave their handprints on a heritage wall. The event also includes a hand-washing ritual and the chance to take memorable photos in front of the heritage wall. Proceeds from the initiative go toward supporting and protecting cultural heritage in the region.
Supporting Living Heritage in AlUla
The "Bayn Aydeyna" experience aims to support living heritage in AlUla governorate and celebrate its storied standing.
