Al-Asyah, 29 Rajab 1447 AH (18 January 2026)

The Qassim Falcon Festival has drawn a strong local and Gulf presence, with 675 falcons from the Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council states competing at Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal Falcon Arena in Al-Asyah Governorate, in a heritage gathering that reflects falconry's place as one of the Kingdom's authentic cultural traditions.

The festival aims to promote falconry as a national heritage, support amateurs and professionals in the field, stimulate tourism and economic activity in the region, and cement its standing as one of the Kingdom's leading heritage events.

Rigorous sorting of the entered falcons through the judging stages resulted in 218 qualifying, with previous cup winners among the entrants and all breeds of falcon eligible to take part.

Accompanying activities included stands for participating government bodies, a pavilion introducing the heritage of falconry, photo opportunities with falcons, and corners for productive families displaying heritage and craft products.

The festival enjoys the support and follow-up of Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim, as part of his commitment to heritage events and tourism and cultural activity in the region, helping pass Saudi heritage to new generations and reflecting the richness of the Kingdom's cultural identity.
