The fan zone accompanying the opening round of the E1 World Championship for electric powerboats opened its doors today on the Red Sea coast in Jeddah, recording a large turnout of local and international visitors as thousands of fans arrived to follow the global event up close.

The area, designed specifically for the fan experience, offered a lively atmosphere with live screens showing the racing, entertainment areas, merchandise stands, food zones and interactive activities introducing visitors to the competing teams and the modern electric RaceBird boats, which reach speeds of 93 km/h. The waterfront site offers striking views of the competition, adding a visual spectacle that pairs sporting excitement with the beauty of the sea.

The strong turnout reflects growing interest in the E1 championship in the Kingdom and confirms Jeddah's ability to deliver an exceptional fan experience to the highest organisational and security standards. Racing continues until tomorrow, with fans expected to keep arriving for the opening round, which the Kingdom is hosting for the third consecutive year.
