Dammam Society of Culture and Arts Opens "Beginnings 2" Exhibition with 31 Artists Inspired by the Saudi Environment
Dammam, 15 Ramadan 1447 AH (4 March 2026)
The Society of Culture and Arts in Dammam yesterday opened the art exhibition "Beginnings 2", with 31 male and female artists taking part in an artistic showcase evoking the details of the Kingdom's local environment, running until 12 March.
The exhibition offers a complete visual vision with the Kingdom's identity and nature as its main theme. The participating artists expressed their close relationship with the land through works documenting the features and aesthetic details of the Saudi environment, in an artistic approach combining contemplation, documentation and contemporary creativity.
The 31 paintings range from depictions of authentic traditional architecture and elements of local nature to the rapid civilizational transformation the Kingdom is experiencing, in a visual blend balancing the authenticity of the past with aspirations for the future.
"Beginnings 2" reflects the Eastern Province art movement's interest in strengthening the presence of national identity in the art scene and giving artists a platform to present creative work inspired by the Kingdom's cultural and environmental legacy within a contemporary artistic vision.
The exhibition is part of the society's efforts to support artists and energize cultural and artistic activity in Dammam through initiatives and exhibitions that cement art's place as a means of expressing identity and social change.
